I can see the argument for Koivu to use the olympics as a warm up but I'm just not buying it. He is clearly not healthy and if he pushes it took hard right now, he may get re-injured or worn down for the end of the season. My thought would be to have him rest up and get fully healed and then hopefully contribute to the lineup down the stretch. Granted, I'm not a huge Koivu guy and understand we are playing fine without him. But if he can work his way back in for Brodziak or help if there is an injury, it could help us alot.
