Saying that federal inmates are low level drug dealers is a contorted version of the facts. The political slant that is evident by the utter lack of in depth analysis is appalling. There are no nickle and dime drug dealers in federal prison, period. Federal guidelines for merely the investigation of drugs far surpass the quantity that by any reasonable standard could be construed as small. These are what people commonly refer to as drug traffickers moving many pounds of product with street values in the tens of thousands of dollars at minimum. The crack epidemic is the only win in the so called War or Drugs which was largely attributed to the very policies that are now deemed discriminatory.
