14 MnSure managers paid more than $26,000 in bonuses just after exchange's launch

ST. PAUL, Minn. — Fourteen people who managed the troubled MNsure online health insurance exchange were collectively paid bonuses of more than $26,000 just after its launch, state officials said.

Why are bonuses handed out for doing the job you were hired to do in the first place? Plus, who decides on these bonuses? Was it in their contract and if so why are bonuses written into them? Maybe bonuses were deserved after the website was completed and working well but that wasn't the case. Clawback that money of ours.
