While most of his teammates and coaches were surrounded by reporters on Wednesday morning, Seattle Seahawks quarterback Tarvaris Jackson sat on the floor, back against a wall, playing with his phone.

Leave it to this columnist to dwell on the negative. How bout something in the line of "T-Jack in the Super Bowl! Who'da thunk it"

Maybe T-Jack should not dwell on the negative as well.......

Barring an injury or a blow-out, T-Jack will never play in a SB.

If Seattle wins, he gets a ring. Enough said.

kudos to him. he's on a team, while many heisman winners are not. he's on a super bowl team, which many all stars have never been. he might get a super bowl ring, which even some hall of famers are missing. i'd day he's doing all right. what's with the prison mug by the way?

What's the odds of T-Jack getting into the game, throwing a interception, and then getting chokeslammed again while trying to stop the pick six?

What T-Jack doesn't recognize is that IF he were the starter, his team wouldn't be in this game!

Can't say I feel too bad for him. He gets a ring for doing zero- if they win. Plus, he proved to everybody that he doesn't even belong in the league, so he should be happy for where he is.

Jackson should sit way at the end of the bench. After the game, he should donate his winning salary to charity. Goodness, I can't believe that he is still in the NFL.

I don't really understand the animosity towards Tavaris by some of the fans here. Yes, he didn't play as well as we would've hoped for us, but does it really make you feel better about yourself to put the guy down all the time? All that said, I think Tavaris's current attitude is terrible, as evidenced by this quote: “Just chilling, not doing too much. Being bored, pretty much. I don’t have a lot to do.” Does the guy not realize he's 1 play away from being in the game? Does he not realize he makes a ton of money? How can he be bored? How can he not have a lot to do? Even if he never starts another game, he's had the chance to make a lot of money playing a game - a chance that almost noone gets. Why wouldn't he try his hardest to make the most of it? Sad.
