Excellent move. We never should have let him leave in the first place, but Bill Smith loved handing out all of our reliever dollars to as few pitchers as possible.

Matt knows that if there is one place where the relievers are going to get an absolute ton of work, it's right here with the Minnesota Twins.

They had to do something after JUST missing out on Tanaka and Garza.

Word is that Ryan is also pursuing Jerry Koosman.....

Ryan is just making some inexpensive bets on high potential role players. Better than spending millions on unknowns and then having to 'eat' the contracts when they are physically unable to perform. Good on Ryan.

Curly is doing nothing more then using smoke and mirrors to hide the fact that ownership will pocket about 1 million dollars each loss the Twins have this season and both will be close to triple digets...100 losses and 100 million in profits, as long as beat writers and trib writers continue to enable the front office and ownership , nothing will change

Another pitcher we should have kept. Now if we can just get back Jesse Crain we could have a solid relief staff again. We will need it since all five starters have ERAs over 4.

I heard the twins are inviting JIM KAAT and BERT BLYLEVEN to spring training for a lefty, righty combo.

another example of terry Ryan living in the past. He thinks pitchers have what they had years ago. Just another cheap attempt to land one good player out of 10 for cheap.

Detroit's baseball team is not bankrupt, and still spending. We will have to face Joe Nathan in a Tigers uniform next season.
