Percy Harvin, pronounced as all-go for Sunday, isn’t weighed down by any Vikings baggage.

I'll take Patterson any day of the week over the oft-injured Harvin - the Vikes came out smelling like a rose in that deal! Percy will be gone from Seattle as soon as they have to pony-up and pay Wilson starting QB-type money.

Yep Seattle sure got their money's worth out of him. Let's see - the Seahawks' stats show he was credited with 1 kick return and 1 reception this year. That means Seattle paid him more than $5.5 million for each of those 2 plays this year. And he's laughing all the way to the bank.

And like Moss, Harvin was an immensely talented receiver who was the polar opposite of a leader.

Good riddance! Good player but a cancer. I propose that had he played all season the Seahawks record would have been worse. He'd find a reason to become divisive. Not enough passes thrown his way, etc. I remember how patient the Vikes were with him and how he repaid that patience. Sidney Rice, Harvin, any other players we can unload to them for picks? Wonder how many plays these two have combined for after taking their leave from us?

Mark this angle is weak. Of course Harvin is happier in Seattle playing in the Superbowl. What pro player wouldn't be? He's happy now. Wait until things don't go his way and/or he gets busted for dope. And absolutely he's laughing all the way to the bank. He did nothing, NOTHING, to help the Seahawks get to the Superbowl yet, here he is. Cold Hard Football Facts call WR's "shiney hood ornaments". Everyone loves to have them, they get a lot of attention, but none of them make the car to go faster. IF the Seahawks win it will be because of that defense, not fragile (mentally as well as physically) little Percy.

wonder if Harvin will choke and fumble like he did in the 2009 NFC championship game? I don't quite know why but hope he has a big day and brings home an MVP and a SB Ring. this article makes me home sick for the 2009 season and reminds me of how far the Vikings have slipped toward reaching that goal.We need some good fortune drafting a QB like we did with Moss and Harvin.

Go Broncos!!!

Rather than hating on Harvin, I would say godspeed and good luck and thanks for the draft choices. We win long term and if we had Harvin, we would not have been in the Super Bowl this year or next. Both sides won, we probably got the advantage long term, but be classy and wish him the best. Besides, his big contract is only partially guaranteed- Rice is facing being cut or taking a big reduction next year- he is an older version of Harvin. Remember Burleson? he got cut also. The long term is where wins and losses are counted.

Moss may have worn out his welcome here the 2nd time around, but most fans never wanted him traded to the Raiders in the first place. McCombs looked to dump him off rather than pay him big bucks on a new contract. That's the difference between McCombs and the Wilfs - the Wilfs will pony up the bucks to sign talent...think Favre in '09 and '10.

Good riddance. Harvin was a streaky flash in the pan. Sort of like Bryant McKinnie winning a super bowl ring, some are deserving and some are just lucky to be along for the ride. I think we know which category Harvin is in.
