Missing father-and-son snowmobilers from Minnesota found in Michigan's western Upper Peninsula

ONTONAGON, Mich. — A Minnesota father and his adult son have been rescued after being stranded overnight in blizzard, sub-zero weather while snowmobiling in Michigan's Upper Peninsula.

I have been through that country...they are so lucky...cell service saved them. Need to use good judgement including the right wardrobe and equipment.

Glad they are o.k. It's a good idea to always bring some basic survival gear if you have a mechanical or run out of gas even if it's a short trip or you know the area.
