If held here, it must bring a net profit to the citizens of the state. Otherwise, TURN IT DOWN!

@rshackleford--"If held here, it must bring a net profit to the citizens of the state. Otherwise, TURN IT DOWN!"---And to ensure we get our money we want a deposit for the entire amount they claim we will make. After they leave we'll do the math and give them back what they have coming. If they don't want to do it that way let them sucker the citizens of some other city out of their tax dollars. Are we tired enough of paying for billionaire sports yet? Even in Rome they were only able to keep people blind and dumb through sports stadiums to the other real problems they had like hunger, lack of work, a massive wealth gap..... Lets be done with providing welfare to billionaires. Really, can we please be done with it?

You two can't really think it won't be profitable for the area can you? Stadium will already be built so you can't claim that as an expense. What will the the extra expense be? Some over time for the police force to beef up security. In return you have 3 of the most desirable college basketball games of the year. Full hotels, restaurants, bars and taxi cabs. Yeah, I can see where this would be a money loser!
