Lawmakers in more than half of US states highlight income inequality with minimum wage bills

ALBANY, N.Y. — Minimum-wage increase proposals are getting the maximum push from Democrats in statehouses in more than half of U.S. states, highlighting the politically potent income inequality issue this year.

The minimum wage should be raised to $20 per hour and paid for by raising the income tax in the highest income earners to 80%. There is no legitimate reason any income inaquality in America. The government should make sure everyone is the same.

With income down, employment down, and Obamacare blowing up, the Democrats don't have much to talk about this campaign season. So this is a good time to stoke some flames of envy.

This is nothing but an attempt from the left to buy votes. These people do not care about the people they are supposed to be representing other than those who will reward them via a vote in return for getting more free stuff from those who actually contribute.

I'd say let them pass these. When people start geting laid off and stores start closing, the Dems will see how their vote buying goes then.
