Parise back after stint as Olympic 'model'

After missing 14 games, Wild forward Zach Parise returned to action Thursday night against Chicago. There was less pain in his injured foot, but Parise was still a bit uncomfortable — thanks to his teammates.

If he's modeling, plus all the commercials, he is likely the Captain of the US men's hockey team. Good for him if it happens, but it does absolutely nothing for the fortunes of the Wild. Even if the US won the gold, which I think is pretty darn remote, it will never be comparable to the '80 win.

Nice to see commercialism raise it's ugly self promoting head by printing a very obvious POLO right across the front of the sweater.
