Despite Twins' woes, Diamond Awards still a hit

Twins President Dave St. Peter, decked out for the ninth annual Diamond Awards held at Target Field on Thursday, said that when the event was conceived, he figured it would need a format that could withstand a 95-loss season.

Happy that everyone in twinkland can take a moment to pat each other on the back. It does seem rather odd though that a team that has lost nearly 100 games a season for three seasons has any reasons to give out awards. Hmmmmm.
