The two-time All-Star didn’t expect fans to vault him over Dwight Howard late in the voting process.

Best PF in the league ! Grats Kevin!

It is too bad Love cannot develop more affinity to Minneapolis and Minnesota. He will be gone at his contract expiration. If the Wolves had a competent owner, this could be an attractive place for the NBA, but we will never have a winner with Taylor in charge. Envelops must be an easy business.

Congrats to Kevin! There is some justice in the NBA. Not sure why Kobe got voted in though. Kobe has played in 6 games. Should have been Westbrook, Lillard, or Harden instead. Oh well, at least Love made it.

The key phrase is "publicity push". This sort of selection is a joke. Love has been almost as productive as fellow all star Kobe Bryant this year.

Artvanndelay, I couldn't agree more. There should be some limits on things, similar to not being included in stats categories unless you have enough games or attempts. Travesty, that. Good for our man, though, HE actually deserves it.

Love will look great in a Laker uniform plus with the failure of the Derrick Williams pick, the failure of the Floyd/Rubio picks, and the failure of the Mohammed pick we can look forward to another 10 years of ineptness.

Love definately deserves to be a starter in the All Star game. Why the hell is Kobe in there? He pretty much hasnt played all season. Ridiculous.

Good news for Love. Now he can leave MN with a big smile.

More good news for Kevin: minimal defense is required at the all-star game. Actually, congrats.

Love may be a little too big for his britches and a tad arrogant, but he is a really, really good player. I don't get all the negative fan reaction to him in the Cities. I think it is great he got voted in to the All-Star game, even though I don't really care about that pointless game.
