History will tell how the Vikings wasted one of the most talented running backs to play the game.

AP's chances of going to the Super Bowl are about as good as Obama's chances of being elected Pope.

There are abductor muscles in the body as well as adductor muscles.

The Viking fan base and media are way too wrapped up with idolizing Peterson. While he's had several years of gaining lots of yards, he's way below par in blocking and receiving. The Vikings would be a better team without him. Find a dual threat back that can pick up the blitz.

Abductor. Adductor. Tomato. ToMAHto. Seriously, who gives a sheet. An actual NFL caliber QB who can loosen up the defense will help Peterson be more effective. And because the Vikings haven't had an actual, you know, NFL QB in years they've had to rely on Peterson for success both on the field and in ticket sales. But don't feel sorry for Peterson for one second. He's made millions of dollars being on average teams. We should all be so lucky.

I believe the Vikings should trade Adrian to a team that very much wants a skilled running back. Then I would sign Toby Gerhart to a lucrative contract. Toby has been around for a while but doesn't have much mileage. He has some skills that AP does not possess.

When he plays you have to give him the ball, not good. When he's out of the game all the other teams know we are going to pass, not good. Why do we need a player like that? A runnning back that can gain 800 yards rushing, 800 receiving, and do a good job of blocking is more valuable than a one dimensional back. Time to rethink AP's value on this team, coaches and GM.

I probably don't need to mention that Norv Turner is pretty important to the Vikings offense at this time. One big reason he may have taken over this offense is because it features Adrian Peterson. Peterson needs to be used less for the following good reasons: A good quarterback and if Gerhart leaves we need another guy to pound the line or take off like a bat out of ____ from behind the line of scrimmage. If we have those players then that will be two good reasons to save Peterson from further injury. The bad reason we protect Peterson from injury would have to do with using him less and accepting a less effective offense as a result.
