Nice to see the Gophs take it to BoBo and the Badgers in every phase of the game, especially in coaching. His antics did them no good this time. Go Gophs!!!!

Mathieu schools Aaron Craft and Traevon Jackson in consecutive games at The Barn. Nice to finally have a true point guard as he makes everyone else so much better. And you see it with lots of guys 'stepping up' to make solid contributions. He could be the 'refuse-to-lose' guard that all the great teams have. Remember a guy named Bobby Jackson? Go Gophs!

@ voner26 - Bo has lost how many times to Goober teams? I suspect the Badgers will take it to the Goobers next time they play in Madison where Bo has the BEST record in ALL of Basketball since he's been there. One win against a team that had the best center in the conference on the bench most of the game due to ticky tack fouls is not exactly taking it to Bo!

Mathieu is the funnest guard to watch since ? I'm amazed that guys like him (and there are few) can make a lane amongst the trees and twist their bodies during the shot just enough that the blockers miss. And he actually makes those shots. Ever tried it? It's one of those things you are born with that practice makes better. Enjoy the show.

The real embarrassment is that they're rated #9. They can't guard anybody, especially in the lane and at the rim. Sure they can hit a lot of 3s on their home court and get a lot of calls, but playing defense and rebounding is what wins games on the road and in the tournament. The Gophers scored two points or more on 21 of 27 second half possessions and made them look silly. That's AFTER they schooled them in the paint in the first half. I think the badger bubble has burst. You won't win in this league giving up layups and dunks. Go Gophs.

dewarf: my thoughts exactly. The coaches and pollsters should be wearing bags over the heads for making these guys No 9 in the country. Yikes!

bigmar: If Kaminsky wasn't so inept he wouldn't have been riding the pine.

Can you imagine how good the Gophers will be NEXT year? I have moved to Florida (retired) but I am so excited about the Gophers football and basketball teams that I signed up for the BTN. Go Gophers!
