Mankato eastbound highway closed due to pileup blamed on icy conditions

MANKATO, Minn. — As many as 20 vehicles blocked eastbound lanes of a highway between Mankato and North Mankato in a pileup blamed on drivers going too fast for icy conditions.

doug, agree. that FALSE sense of security has only let drivers be stupid on the roads. "I GOT A BIG 4WH DRIVE CAR, AND 10 AIR BAGS, AND 42 SEAT BELTS, AND MEGA INSURANCE !!! . AND ! : I GET ANGRY, AND AGGRESSIVE WHEN OTHERS SLOW DOWN MORE THAN I WANT TO ! ". real fun people there. how would they enjoy being a cop that's left to clean up the HAMBURGER that those ATTITUDES sometimes cause ?

19jack48. Bravo for a dead-on comment. I drove Mpls to St Cloud for 10 years, and the Big Beast Boys were the scariest people on the road.
