Minnesota state senator says lawsuit against him is not related to his legislative duties

ST. PAUL, Minn. — A state senator who's accused of failing to repay a Small Business Administration loan said Monday the case is not related to his legislative duties.

The hypocrisy of so-called Republican fiscal conservatives never ceases to amaze me. Vote this irresponsible public official out of office.

While Nienow said it wasn't related to his legislative duties, he issued the statement on his Senate letterhead... Maybe not but it IS related to his character. Dump him folks. There must be something in the water in that area of our state that the politicians are drinking.

I would love to see the business plan he submitted and why it was approved to get the loan. Also, where was the money spent? If it wasn't on the business development, jail time.
