Well, duh. Is Middleton the mythical "town that time forgot"?

Duhhhhh There should not even be an issue about this. NO cell phones in testing room. Where have these people been?

I guess it is a "progressive" policy to allow students full use of their phones during the school. Afterall, no student should have their feelings hurt by missing a text. Maybe a better policy to promote learning would be to not allow cell phone use at all during the school day.

The problem is that if you ban all cell phone use during the school day, then 100 parents show up at the next school board meeting screaming that they paid for those cell phones with their hard-earned salary so the kids have a RIGHT to carry them, and besides they MUST be able to reach Braxton and Cydnee 24 hours a day in case there is an emergency, and the cell phone ban is causing them pain and suffering, and frankly endangering their precious snowflakes (WHAT IF THERE WAS A SCHOOL SHOOTING AND THE KIDS COULDN'T CALL 911?!?!?). I wish I were joking about this, but I have seen more than one news story in which this happened.
