Completely outplayed but again our goalie stands on his head for the win.Dallas plays 3 games in 4 nights and we get them agaun in there 3rd game. The Wild have something over the NHL schedule makers. We never have 7 or 8 game road trips like many teams plus except for the next West coast trip the rest of the schedule travel wise is very moderate. Easy playoffs for the Wild. Dallas is toast and Phoenix is struggling so the Wild may get the 7th seed.

Wild have scored 125 goals, given up 125 goals. Kind of amounts to nothing.

Good job, great weekend of hockey.

What an awesome day! I was so happy for Haula, figuring it was fitting that he'd get his first NHL goal on Hockey Day. Then, to have Prosser end the game like that? Unreal.

A right handed shot with grit, and now more goals than your fav Spurgeon. Russo, you must be beside yourself that Prosser is doing well. Don't worry, Yeo/Wilson have their own favorites, so the brainiac will soon be back on the ice.

I'm glad the Wild won, however, getting severely outplayed, outshot and out hustled is not something to be proud of! We won because Darcy was outstanding in net; period. Yeo is a horrible coach, win or no win. They were hard to watch last night.

I feel the same way as Sage 62, I can't like a team that is as dishonest as this Wild are, I have seen it with the North Stars for a majority of the years they played here..... I will say that Bob Clarke and Bob Gainey did a super job transforming the North Stars into a hard working team (consistent) But even they could not turn the North Stars from playing for the final playoff spot......... Lemaire and Riser put the Wild to a Division championship with the expectations to win ....... What expectations does this team have ?

rjr2205Jan. 19, 1410:24 AM

Glad they won, but not a good effort by most of the forwards! Where's Pomer?? Is it Yeo or the players who are responsible for such frequent lapses in effort? Kemper was/is awesome and has played himself into being the Number One goalie!! Officials were lousy once again! I think it was Grandland who took at least 6-8 heavy crosschecks to his kidneys when forchecking behind the Stars net! A linesman, who can call a major penality, was looking right at the dangerous elbow/headshot on Cook and did nothing! I doubt the NHL will do anything!! I guess it's OK to commit numerous even flagrant fouls to Minn players ala the New Orleans vs Vikes playoff game!! Love the Wild, but they have to exert high and consistent effort!! GO WILD!!!!
