Mark Wilf, co-owner and president of the Vikings, was asked why he thought replacing Leslie Frazier with Mike Zimmer would result in a big improvement from last year’s 5-10-1 record.

Year after year Zimmer was passed over by teams despite being better qualified due to lack of diplomacy. Kudos to the Wilfs to look past that and see a coach with a burning desire to succeed. Like others who have been slighted (Brady 6th round pick, Randy Moss and Aaron Rogers free fall draft) Zimmer will prove his naysayers were dead wrong.

I continue to believe the Viking first problem is the Ownership ! These East Coast Grifters are not a class act, much like Jones in Dallas. Anyone out there recall Max Winter,et al, interviewing prospective coaches or giving interviews to media types regarding the operation of the Team The Vikes have a GM & if he can't do the job, get a new one.

Zimmer=honest. Wilfs=not

Mark Wilf wouldn't know honesty and directness if it hit him in the mouth.

As long as the three racketeerers are in charge you will never win. The Wilfs could not care less about superbowls here. Only your Mn. cash in his pocket. Zygi should do one of those "whats in your wallet" commercials.

How does the name Wilf and the word honesty end up in the same article??

The Wilfs are proven crooks and EVERYONE knows it!!! Why these greedy New Jersey crooks are not in jail for cooking their real estate books to defraud one of their own business partners is beyond repulsive.

@jplamp9 - I remember you posting the exact SAME comments after the Wilfs hired Colonel Klink and Leslie Frazier. I guess all of us purple homers are going to have to wait another 54 years for one of these head coaches to pan out.

all these negative votes on this forum, MUST be Wilf-lovers. I don't like my wallet picked like you Wilf worshippers!

Wilf and honesty.. two words that don't often collide in the same sentence.
