When will local weather forecasters realize that 4 to 6 inches of snow is more than a "coating?" Do any of them actually live in the Twin Cites metro area?

The highways are in terrible shape. I am concerned that without using the salt treatments and then temps expected to be 15 below tomorrow night that roads on Monday are going to be ice covered. I drove most of the 494/694 trip today and there were accidents everywhere. The roads are snow compacted, greasy. With the temps in the high teens, I thought this was the best for the sale treatments? And, with the sun, the roads could be dry again before the cold returns. In my entire trip I saw one salt truck, near 77 and 494. Where are the rest of them?
