Google's contact lens glucose monitor prototype could end finger pricks for diabetics

MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif. — Google unveiled Thursday a contact lens that monitors glucose levels in tears, a potential reprieve for millions of diabetics who have to jab their fingers to draw their own blood as many as 10 times a day.

Seems like a good concept; however, how long until advertisements start appearing in your field of view? Or Google starts collecting data on your vitals, or filming your entire life and storing it in some data warehouse? Google is no longer the "cool kid on the block"; they are a finely tuned Machine, who's main goal is corporate profits and data collection.
