I wish we'd be buyers and buy something or seller and sell or give away lamb

I'd rather be "hot" in the chase or "cold" and rebuilding, but to be "lukewarm" is senseless and gutless - come on let's make it fun and make the obvious changes (3B, LF, middle relief)!!

Lamb is very pointless right now, this team is already so left handed that a non-versitile lefty just doesn't make sense. So that's the one area that the Twins could be buyers in...

All I know is that Colorado has two third basemen, Atkins and young Ian Stewart, and can't keep them both. They can be had -- and both would be more powerful than what you have.

Twins again lose a heartbreaker...1-0. And the Management sees no need to auquire or trade? Excuse us. Thats a dumb lie. Twins need POWER and have for a long time. Power hitting 3B, powwer hitting of, power hitting dh.....BOOM BOOM..... The bBraves next door needed pitching and adds Sabbathi an dincreased their payroll to $02 mil! And cheap Carl orders again to Bill Smith to not increase the payroll even though its at $65 mil. And we have won 53 games and in first...excuse me do you think we are dumb? Its very very sad that Smith plays mickey mouse baseball just as his twin brother Ryan did. Sad. Disgusting.

oops.....thats 93 million the payroll now of Milwaukee who want to win. Thats close to $30 million MORE than the Twins. Twins have gotten by with you players but need veteran power.....Pohlad promised us when we voted in his new stadium...WHEATIES FIELD that will be ready in 2010...just around the corner that he would throw in $25 million on to this payroll to make sure he had a winner. That $25 million is needed right now to trade or acquire FA with power. Hello?

"The bullpen has absorbed the loss of setup man Pat Neshek." This is so not true! "We've gotten quality bullpen work." This is true, to a degree. In any event, however, the Twins, if they want to have any shot at the post season, absolutely must find a quality, reliable setup man.

How about someone who can knock some runners in? (Besides Morneau) And hit for some power. Example: Look at the game tonight vs. the Red Sox. Twice we had the bases loaded and about four times we had runners in scoring position only to end the game without a single run. Baker pitched one hell of a game, only to get the loss due to the lack of slugging by the Twins. I love the Twins, but damn we need someone to rely on besides Morneau. Our starting pitchers deserve better.

We had someone on the bench other than Monroe or Young who could come up in a pinch hit situation and actually scare the bejesus out of the other team. Monroe doesn't do it for me anymore...and Young is too undisciplined at the plate... What we need is someone like a Don Baylor (remember in 87? we had no glaring needs then either...) Someone who adds an air of confidence to the bench and a fear factor to the other team... Granted we've been lucky so far with runners in scoring position, but last night when we needed it...Young failed twice. Package Lamb, Everret, and Monroe for whatever you can get...keep Span up here (let him play left) and for gosh sakes get a power threat. By the way NotBradPitt...Bass took the L, not Baker... Baker gets a no decision, since he didn't pitch in the 8th.
