Just confirms my view Russo. 20 lines of text on Parise, 3 on Mikko. Too bad what he has done on the ice since he has been here justifies the extra 17 lines. Make sure you delete this like many others when the truth gets too close for you to handle. Now go get paid by the Wild public relations staff (FoxSports North, Kfan, etc.)

mga: You're a hoot! The hardest working guy on the roster and mainstay on our PP is getting closer to returning and that's a bad thing? I agree, Lapanta & Greenie can get annoying, but they know who pays the bills in the case. The problem is twofold for the Wild, under coached and undersized. Both are fixable.

Sorry sage, for the extra what $8-$10MM that Parise has gotten versus Mikko since he has been here, Zach has not justified his pay. Mikko's PPG has gone up, ZP's has gone down, versus career numbers. And what evidence is there that Parise works harder than anyone else? Hearsay? Appearance of working harder? Even if true, there apparently must be a lot of wasted effort. Seems like Mikko is working harder to get back from injury than Zach. And Mikko is not even from Minnesota. Speaking of undersized, have you checked-out Zach's height and weight?

I've played and watched hockey for years, so yes I can recognize effort when I see it. Parise is small, but doesn't play small like Granny or Bouchard. I'm suggest replacing Mitchell, Granlund and Brodziak for starters, with some 6'4" plus types. Oh, and maybe an effective offensive strategy other than 'dump n hope'.

if your view is that you whine all the time about Parise and Russo's articles over and over and over again like a broken record, then yes your views have been confirmed.

Can we get over pitting Parise vs. Koivu? For God's sake they play on the same freaking line and it is well known that they enjoy playing with each other. They compliment each others style very well. Not every player is supposed to do the same thing on the ice. Some score, some assist, some dig in the corners, and some are crazy enough to get pucks shot at them. Chill out people. The foundation is in place, we just need the youngsters to mature, and to find a few more pieces. This team is light years ahead of DR's teams.

I think the foundation is place, but a new coach is needed. And a few talented big bodies as well.
