TORONTO — Jamie Langenbrunner has retired after a 16-year NHL career in which he won two Stanley Cups.

Langs... Congrats on a great career, I was very happy for you and the NorthStars when you got the Cup in 99 and always pulled for you wherever you played... excepting for the BLUES!! Too many battles with them in the early days for the N-Stars, can't pull for them, like ever! But I was always a fan of yours. Enjoy your retirement, thanks for some great memories....

Man, I am feeling old. Jamie was the same age as me and, I believe, the only guy our age from Minnesota who had an NHL career. Only a handful of guys left who are my age or older now. Great career Jamie. You did Minnesota proud.
