The headline is misleading. This is more of a discussion to clean up regulations than a debate over anything.

Clean up the regulations, make it work, and end that no-win part of the war on drugs.

If you want to legalize marijuana in Minnesota do NOT vote for or support Hennepin County Sheriff Stanek, Judge James Backstrom, Governor Mark Dayton or St Paul Mayor Chris Coleman, all of whom are on record being solidly in support of continuing the epic failure that has been the War on marijuana.

These are just issues of fine-tuning the regulations. As for the price issue, it will likely take care of itself just like any other product; prices will only rise to the level that the market will bear. Sellers should be careful not to get greedy though. If prices exceed the black market price, the black market will continue to thrive, and that will undercut part of the rationale for legalization. Smart business owners will offer lower prices for medical marijuana.

Is anyone over the age of reason reading this? Remember when tobacco commercials were everywhere? I smoked as almost everyone else did and tobacco was thought to be a medicinal as well as a social substance. I smoked and afterward we found the dangers of it. Pot is now the "in" thing. I used it and I knew the dangers of it. My companions all smoked it and used it and most of them are dead. I wonder if smoking, in general, had something to do with their deaths? I stopped smoking over twenty years ago and I stopped toking over twenty years ago and I am alive without illness yet. I wonder how long?

We dont need more mush headed unproductive citizens who spend their paychecks on dope and then complain that other people have a higher standard of living than they do. Inconceivable that "adults" still toke. I would fire you in a heartbeat.
