In the sentence after the "bio-bullet" description: "We don't think it makes any sense to spend millions of taxpayer dollars and invest 30 years of effort in hopes of a small reduction in the prevalence of bison" I thought the vaccine bullet was meant to reduce the prevalence of brucellosis. The course they're now embarked on is the one that will reduce the prevalence of bison.

Why so expensive? I realize the vaccine has a cost, but to get to high enough expenditures to be a problem requires PAID shooters. Let hunters do it. Sell licenses to actually take one, but require verified video proof of vaccinating some, say maybe 10, before the license is valid. Give each hunter an exclusive area to prevent the same animals getting targeted and go for it. Bill G.
