New Mexico community gathers for vigil after middle school shooting that wounded 2 students

ROSWELL, N.M. — A 12-year-old New Mexico boy used a shotgun to shoot and wound two classmates at his middle school Tuesday morning before a teacher talked him into dropping the weapon and he was taken into custody, officials and witnesses said.

Another tragic example how irresponsible we are with guns in this very slow learning country.

*Cue* the wailing for more gun control.... never mind that none of the myriad gun laws already on the books would have prevented this. And never mind that the media greatly contributes to these tragedies by giving every malcontent that wants to act-out, their 15 minutes of fame. And never mind that the REAL cause of these school shootings is the toxic social environment of the schools themselves!
