Based on fantasy rankings, it doesn’t project to be much better than it was a year ago.

Jason Bartlett should replace Florimon at shortstop and Miquel Sano could push Plouffe out as well. The key to scoring runs will depend on a rebound by Hicks and Kubel.

So what else is new? The money spent on the pitchers covers only the increase in Television revenues each team will receive this year. Lots of money to spend but no one to spend it on? Baloney!!!!

I can't see anyway they don't lose 90 again. They were 29th out of 30 in ERA and even with a few new faces, they still are more than likely to be in the bottom 1/4 overall. The offense...well it's offensive. Mauer can get on base....and uh....Mauer can get on base.

2013 will be year 4 of 7 of 90+ losses.

The Twins sit around 83 million for 2014 , an increase of 4 million from the 2009 season ,if the twins were to spend using ownerships guidlines they would have a 2014 payroll of 127.5 million is it any wonder that the front office once again is just blowing smoke and using mirrors

Beloved field manager "Gardy" will fearlessly lead the Twins to a fourth season in a row of at least 95 losses.

Stephen Drew is the obvious candidate for immediate help. He won't solve many of the team's offensive offense, but he will at least provide an upgrade at SS. Also, his price fall everyday, which is something the FO will love.

".....a move or two in spring training?" These moves would be castoffs from other teams. Sounds like Ryan has locked the vault. Can a polar vortex extend into summer?

Not sure how Pedro Florimon's lack of offensive ability is gardy's fault. Sometimes you get bad cards.

I've watched the off season acquisitions with suspiscion. I think we're looking at a 95 plus losses again and the Twins know it. None of the minor league phenoms are ready. Anyone who is hopeing that Hicks rebounds hasn't been paying attention. He's overmatched and a flake to boot. Anyone that takes that takes that much time to bat is simply delaying the inevitable. Pitchers are still less than mediocre. The Twins: they still pitch to contact and their hitters still take pitches and place too many restrictions on hitters.
