The Twolves have the WORST bench in the NBA. Chase Budinger and Ronny Turiaf will help, but the bench crew is lacking productivity. Muhammed should get more minutes! Dante Cunningham is limited and doesn't get to the free throw line. Adelman needs to stop being stubborn about playing young players and get Muhammad, a player with the potential to crest his own shot, more playing time.

The Wolves are doing so well that they perhaps don't need to change anything...not.

He can't be any worse than Cunningham, whose play has really dropped off this season. Give him a shot and see how he does. After all he is Flip's first pick.

It's refreshing to see the humble attitude. He's not a prima donna. He wants to fit in. He just needs a chance. We have the worst defense in the NBA, so don't give me that excuse as a reason for not playing him, Rick. We also have one of the worst shooting teams in the NBA. I think a scorer like Shabazz could help. He will only get better, but you have to play him. Don't be scared, Rick. You're coaching a sub .500 team. You need all the help you can get. This is the new millenium, but you're still coaching like it's the 90's. Other teams play rookies. Why won't you? The fans wait an entire off season with excitement and anticipation about seeing their 1st round pick in action, and you won't even play him?? Why do you hold the fans wishes in such low regard, Rick? Play the kid, Rick. He has earned a shot. Do it for the fans.

Rick, it seems you and Leslie Frazier think alike. He also refused to play his rookie, the now all pro Cordarrelle Patterson. Could there be a lesson there, Rick? Playing him could really provide a spark too, because he will push the other players to do better to earn their minutes. Now there's an idea, Rick. Make them earn their minutes. We might actually see Cunningham drive to the hoop and attack it for once instead of settling for jumper after jumper after jumper after jumper after jumper....you get the picture. I love Cunningham's energy and defense, but he definitely needs to attack the rim more. If you can't get him to do that, maybe Shabazz can. Play the kid, Rick. It's not going to kill your record, and he just might light up the scoreboard every once in awhile, something very few of your bench players ever do.

Manolive - Basketball and football are two different sports. Rookies can have great impact in football. Rarely in basketball.

We don't have the worst bench in the league. No way. That's hyperbole run amok. It'd be better to say we have a bad rotation...with everyone back though that could change.

We're 9th in the league in offensive efficiency. Why are people so worried about offense ?

Well, has he at least passed Hummel on the depth chart, or he is just being developed to play at the two?
