WHO CAN BLAME HER FOR not wanting to run with Dayton again and being put in the position of defending his 4 year record.

Rep. Tom Huntley described Lt. Gov. Yvonne P Solon perfectly. A hard working, dedicated public servant who was elected and re-elected many times by voters in Minnesota. Hopefully, if the governor is going to appoint someone else for his upcoming ticket, that his next Lt Gov will be in a position to govern on behalf of ALL Minnesota. Yvonne's shoes will be hard to fill in Greater Minnesota. Hopefully she is staying!

I don't know why so much drama is involved in this. It's hard to believe that they'd be putting everyone through this if she was going to stay on the ticket. I suppose the delay is to give Dayton some time to come up with a replacement but it sounds like he suspected this would happen so he must have someone lined up.

Except for the gun grabbing hearings, she hasn't done much. Ranks right up there with Mae Schunk.

She could be the first rat to desert Dayton's sinking ship.

SwiftBoat, she has accomplished two things. 1 parachuted and corrected someone on how to pronounce her name. At least it didn't cost the taxpayer anything.

Like Rybak, Dayton has become a liability for the DFL due to the stadium and MnSure fiascos. He should drop out of politics like Rybak and let someone else step in.

Dayton has such a bloated ego that he surrounds himself with young pretty faces and sycophants. April Todd-Malmlov was young and pretty all right. How did that work out Mr. Dayton? He's got strikes against him: the Vikings' stadium which is not supported by most taxpayers, his foolhardy plans to drastically increase sales taxes (remember they had to be shot down), and the MNSure incompetence. Dayton has not done a great job. I would be surprised if Prettner Solon could stand another four years of Dayton's ego.
