Kudos to Anoka Co for this type of program. Worked in corrections and CD for 35 years....saw the huge $$$$ impact on taxpayers. This can help stop the cycle.

Sounds like a wonderful program, very sensible, and shocking to see it in Anoka County, which refuses to spend money on almost anything. I just hope our right-wing board of supervisors don't read this article and decide to can it because it sounds too social-servicy.

Anoka County is a well kept secret. Smaller and conservative, it has leadership and staff who creatively care for its citizens. This is one example. Kudos to Anoka County! (from a former resident and employee)
