How is the state going to pay back these bonds for years 2-30? Just wondering.

The destruction of the existing stadium should be halted until this whole mess is cleaned up.

Most of the seats have already been taken out, as has a good section of infrastructure. The dome's coming down - it remains to be seen whether TCF Bank Stadium becomes a longer-term home for the Vikings. (Personally, I'd love the irony of the Vikings begging to use the Gophers' stadium after they refused to work with them earlier.)

Doug & Linda Mann, and David Tilsen are the ones who filed the petition for a writ of prohibition according to a post on e-democracy.

At a minimum it would have been helpful to see more information published about the nature of this suit. Apparently it has to do with the constitutional legality of requiring the City of Minneapolis to contribute to the payment of state bonds. Probably a long shot but we only have to win once and this project stops, at least temporarily.

This whole ENTIRE debacle should end right now. Legal actions after legal action. when will this farce end? Why the state lets this debacle go on and on is crazy. THREE THINGS - -HALT ENTIRE PROJECT -DE-FUND THE PROJECT -TAKE THE MONEY THAT THEY ALREADY HAVE AND BUILD LIBRARY'S FOR AS MANY LOW INCOME SCHOOLS THEY CAN. THE PEOPLE OF MINNESOTA deserve better than a Sports Facility. What about the ARTS, what about reading for children. New schools in Minneapolis? Some of the schools in Minneapolis my grandfather attended. STOP IT NOW.....

Frivolous lawsuits just wasting time and money. The stadium is already being built, just go downtown and take a look. You lost, move on.

Actually, I don't know why this state wants to do business with a NJ Crook. We have enough problems.

Forget the bonds. Tell Ziggy if he wants HIS (not the peoples) stadium built on time HE needs to write the 468 billion check! Taxpayers were a victim of fraud and are in need of relief from these crooks.

Love the delusional comments. First off this will do nothing to stop the stadium actually being built. But the comment by diogenesny is my favorite. Oh sure the wilfs would stay at tcf stadium long term....they could make more going to a dilapidated nfl stadium, even the coliseum in la than they would make long term at the bank. Give me a break.
