Wolves clear the air, then clobber Charlotte 119-92

A 27-point rout was the ideal vehicle for Wolves starters and reserves to distance themselves from a short-lived rift.

win by 20, lose by 4...been there seen this. run off a streak of wins already!

manoliveJan. 10, 14 9:44 PM

Now THAT's what I signed up for! That's 8 victories by 20 or more points this season, tops in the NBA. This was TWolves past vs TWolves future. With Big Al, Sessions, and Tolliver, we got a reminder of what was. I like what IS much better! Keep it up, Wolves! Pedal to the metal. It's Hammer Time with the Bruise Brothers! Who's next!?

Super-guard 6 assists 8 points 3 boards in 25 minutes. Cunningham 6 assists 6 points 6 boards in 16 minutes. Enough said.

I just saw a power ranking of NBA teams and believe it or not, the T-Wolves were 6th! And that was before getting back Turiaf, and Buddinger… Just because they've lost a lot of close games, don't let that fool ya. This team is much better than their record. Expect that to show up in the win/loss column from here on out. I say they could even make a deep run in the playoffs. I know I'll get a few thumbs down, but that's because you don't know anything.

Twistshout: if you really think the Wolves are the sixth best team in the NBA, then you're the one who doesn't know anything.

Sunday's game is important. 6th in the league in point differential, they need to start playing like they deserve that ranking

slammanJan. 10, 1410:42 PM

I am happy there was yelling and shouting after the loss against Phoenix. There should be frustration and anger for losing like that. If J.J. and Cunningham are angry for sitting, it's because they think they can do better than the players on the court at the end of the game. This team needs the leaders to stand up and man up and finish these games. It's good for a team to fight through adversity. It stirs the pot and you find out what the team is made of. I predict the Wolves overcome two obstacles on Sunday; 1.Beating the Spurs at their place 2. Getting over the .500 hump. Slamman has spoken and I approve of this message.

Getting a win against the Spurs could be the turning point of this season. I see no reason why the Wolves can't beat them on Sunday and many reasons why they can.

Few things to complain about with this game. What there is is the usual stuff - Barea unforced turnovers, Rubio missing layups. But if the Wolves play like this every night then an upper 40s to 50 win season is not out of the realm of possibility. It will depend on the bench, Martin making second half appearances, Love keeping his mouth shut, and Rubio making some progress.

derrick Williams scoring totals for the last 10 games: 7 1 7 2 3 0 11 5 14 6. This is for the posters who predicted stardom for him or who think Adelmann is prejudiced against young players. I think Adelmann knew exactly what he had in Williams and remember you will never know as much about basketball as him.
