AP PHOTOS: Chemical spill in W.Va. leads to squeeze on water, residents get bottled

CHARLESTON, W.Va. — The chemical spill that shut down much of Charleston and surrounding areas put a squeeze on potable water, as residents were told not to drink or shower with the water from their taps. The West Virginia National Guard was sent in to distribute bottled water, and residents bought up stock at local supermarkets.
