If it's not one thing it's another with Backstrom. He may be the softest player in MN sport's history. Huge gaffe by GM Chuck Riesbrough. The Brass should have seen this coming. He cant stay healthy-Slow as molasses-Can't move side to side anymore. These pro team's study these guy's,they spend so much time, money and effort into drafting and signing player's how is it no one in this organization could see that Backstrom was ready for the glue factory 2 year's ago? The GM and the goalie coach should either be fired or docked pay for one of the worst decison's in team history. Re signing this guy.

Kuemper should start(given his successful last outing)and good luck to him. I have to believe that he is a big part of the future goaltending picture for the Wild so play him now and see what he's got. What the Wild currently have going is not working out very well.

I was harping after last season not to resign Backstrom. He is too old, slow, and has lost all of his confidence. If Keumper continues to play like last game(I hope he does)it will not matter too much that he is on the shelf. I feel bad for Harding. He was playing lights out and I was hoping he could have one full year of stellar play without any MS setbacks. It is a nasty disease and unfortunately I do not think he will be able too be on the ice consistently.

Time to wake up Mr Fletcher time get another goalie or are you going to get the guy from the bar league again? This team (the actual players) will soon realize Backstrom will not do the things he has to do to help this team. and when that happens this team is done. Just think of what Harding is trying to do to help this team and compare that to Backstrom.

Maybe we could suit up Heater, because he's somewhat static when on the ice (like a goalie)?
