"that, whatever happens the rest of the year, Madonna, Beyoncé, Katy Perry, Lady Gaga and Taylor Swift don’t deserve to be mentioned in the same sentence with her." I don't know where to begin????

Can we have someone younger than Sid Hartman review these concerts please? Re-read the last paragraph of this review for one of the most ridiculous statements ever.

I disagree with Mr Bream. I thought the show had 3 too many acrobatic stunts - 2 would've been plenty. I say this because Pink has a phenomenal voice and I don't think that was presented to the audience. I wish the show portayed her voice and performance skills instead of the circus acts which may or may not have been lipsynced. I did not hear one person after the concert say...."what a great show...it was awesome"...I heard more people walking out asking how to pay for parking

I agree: That last paragraph was so breathtakingly...something...that I can only presume it has to be some kind of tongue-in-cheek parody of a giddy schoolgirl's concert review for her junior high newspaper.

Glad you enjoyed. I saw Pink in Ireland at a soccer stadium in 2007. Super excited to go but ... Worst. Show. Ever. She played for like 45 minutes, made no attempt to connect with the crowd - even though she was in a different country - left the stage and we could see her get in her big limo with her entourage and take off. No encore or anything. Everyone was like WHA??? To add insult to injury, the concert was sponsored by COORS LIGHT! WHA? We were in Ireland and we had to drink crappy COORS LIGHT? Ugh. Such a bad experience I vowed never to see her again. Pink? In my eyes she is just faded red lol.

When did newspaper reviews move from being an independent (but still subjective) summary of an event to part of the overall marketing/hype/"not really reality" show machine? I'm growing tired of being treated like an idiot under the guise of "it's entertainment." You really expect me and other readers to believe that there is even a remote chance that Pink was ACTUALLY singing while doing extensive acrobatics? Seriously??? Have you watched the Olympics? World class trained gymnasts are fully winded after competing in their event (which lasts 2 to 3 minutes.) They are challenged to even speak when interviewed immediately after their performance. But, some how, Pink can do both extensive acrobatics AND sing live across a 2 hour show??? Seriously. Quit treating us like morons. I'm fine if you enjoyed the show. That's great. And I also believe performers can be entertaining (but lip synching) so why imply otherwise? Write your review in a way that doesn't assume I and others are a bunch of gullible morons.

It was a great show, and The Truth About Love continues to be on my list of all-time great tours. But this show certainly did not "top" her 2013 performance at the X. For starters, the acoustic quality at the X far surpasses the quality at Target Center, so the 2013 beats this one by mere "overall sound" alone. Second, fresh off her vocal chord injuries, P!nk seemed to rely more on her back-up singers this time around, particularly later in the show. Not that I can blame her; the girl's chords have to be fried after 18 months of touring. Third, she rearranged the end of the show so that what was originally the "So What" finale, was now a "So What" encore. Unfortunately, that meant she dropped the original encore, the awe-inspiring "Glitter in the Air" slow vocal + trapeze performance. Still a good show, but if you saw it last year - like many of us did - it's hard to say it topped the last show.

ARRey sez: Wholeheartedly believe it's no longer about the music. It's all about the show. Pity.
