If the argument about the 'Steroid Era' is that they should all be assumed to be guilty, then why not still vote for the ones who clearly performed at a far superior level? There are plenty of players who've been found guilty of using PEDs who struggle to even make it out of the farm system.

By excluding all you are implying all cheated, albeit implicitly. Therefore, you should still vote for the best players of the era. At the end of the day they still outperformed their peers. The players played according to the rules. Perhaps we should just ban baseball from the HOF.

It could be argued that players who did not 'use' knew of the abuse of PEDs, and therefore aided and abetted by their silence. There are no baseball players coming forward to implicate players who they were aware of. Further, the players association could have pushed for control and testing even tho MLB did not press the issue. There's going to be a lot of players outside the HOF who have great numbers. They can join Shoeless Joe, Pete and many others who didn't make it in.
