Mr. Dayton; You have said that YOU are ultimately responsible, so if this investigation shows gross negligence, will you do the proper thing and resign? What will you do about the wasted tax dollars on a system that doesn't work? Who will pay that money back to us?

Just remember how "independent investigation" is defined. Mr. Nobles is a long time State Government employee; an ultimate insider. All of the members of his team belong to the Minnesota Association of Professional Employees (MAPE); a government employees union. As a condition of employment, these "independents" must contribute over $2000 per year to Democrat politicians. Plus, they have already endorsed Gov. Dayton for reelection in 2014. Now that's a true independent investigation.

Hmmm. A contractor that took millions & millions in taxpayer money and did an inept crappy job, and a State agency mandated with oversight whose definition of oversight was to sit in the corner and cross their fingers. How odd. Sure didn't see this one coming.

Somebody should definitely investigate, but you have to wonder how fair the investigation will be and what the consequences will be.

Yup, I am on SSI-Disability. Went to an insurance agent who helped me fill in the form. Since the system was down we had to fax my application in. Later in the day I called MNSure to make sure that they got my application. They said that they could not take faxed forms. Now just yesterday, someone called me from MNSure about my faxed form (yes, they accepted my fax and could not find out why I was told they wouldn't accept it). Now that I got my application in, I have no idea what I will be signed up for!!

Will Dayton himself be interviewed by the auditors or will this be like Sec Clinton's special investigation of Benghazi?

There exists one approach to auditing IT controls - COBIT 5 - all the IT auditors know the approach. Hopefully we'll see the audit performed according to this approach from the IT audit professional association ISACA and the results for transparency.
