There is such a connection between former KSTP-TV “Good Company” hosts Steve Edelman and Sharon Anderson.

I recall Steve and Sharon had Regis Philbin here for the St. Paul Winter Carnival Parade. They sat outside with a 50 below wind chill. Don't know what they were thinking. Bet Regis would never come back.

Why did SA settle for SE? He was kind of a toad.

1985 at the fair they did a remote from the midway. As a senior in high school I noticed a crowd around this game of chance and tried peeking over shoulders to see what it was all about. I saw Sharon and said something along the lines of "Oh--Its Sharon from good company...I heard she's such a -not nice- person in real life. I MAY have used a different word there. The guy in front of me turned around and it was Steve who gave me not a look of anger...but rather a look of "you don't know the half of it buddy"--then turned back around.

I loved what Steve said about Raquel Welsh. Years ago, while working the night shift at a Denver hotel, Steve walked in to check in. Born and raised in Minneapolis, I commented (as I checked him in) that I loved watching Good Company and thought he & Sharon were so funny. His response? He gave me a half smile and asked for his key and walked away. What a jerk.

I used to love that show. I still can't believe that KSTP's Twin Cities Live is so terrible in comparison to Good Company. Anyhow, I think Steve and Sharon had a home or vacation home near Marine on St.Croix. Steve would go into Scandia Hardware and absolutely curse a blue streak -- total diva behavior on the level of Mariah Carey. Too funny. I wish C.J. would have asked something more insightful about their son, given what a big deal it was when he was born, but it's CJ and she's the worst. What can we expect from her?
