Colorado gun accessories maker Magpul moving to Wyoming, Texas because of new gun laws

CHEYENNE, Wyo. — One of the country's largest producers of ammunition magazines for guns is leaving Colorado and moving operations to Wyoming and Texas because of new state laws that include restrictions on how many cartridges a magazine can hold.

So many factors go into business location other than owners' political views (transportation/distribution, proximity to suppliers and markets, taxes, etc.). I believe the stars are aligning for Magpul in multiple ways or this wouldn't happen. $13 million in incentives from Wyoming, and expected incentives from Texas, might play a role. And let's not forget the NRA.... Colorado will survive.
