Officials: Final wolf kill 23 after last day of Upper Peninsula hunt, short of quota of 43

MARQUETTE, Mich. — Twenty-three wolves were killed in the Upper Peninsula during Michigan's first wolf hunt in four decades, the state reported Wednesday.

I'm sure there will be another hunt just like all of the in all states where there is a solid population, good news all around. Human Society will always be opposed for no good reasons, it's not like hunters will exterminate them.
