So our incoming mayor is in debt up to her eyeballs and how many of you think that their won't be a few favors thrown around to retire that?

Must be a lot of money to be made in running for office when you can go that far into debt. Or is it favor pay back time?

Gee, most sociology majors I know who work as fundraisers for obscure nonprofits like Hodges has done, don't have two quarters to rub together, much less $21 thousand just laying around to "lend" themselves. Politics must be profitable! Of course most sociology majors I know didn't come from "privileged" Minnetonka and attend "privileged" Bryn Mar college. Like the "greedy corporate" hotel owner they tried to run for congress and the decidedly "privileged" Governor we currently have, I'm always amused at the backgrounds of the candidates the DFL comes up with... while reviling those same "privileged" backgrounds if the candidate is Republican.
