House record or health care law? Defining issue will influence outcome of House races

WASHINGTON — In a competitive district east of Denver, Democrat Andrew Romanoff is counting on voter anger at a divided and ineffectual Congress to help him unseat three-term Republican Rep. Mike Coffman.

The GOP and its abrasive teaparty caucus eventually must find some positive platform issues for the common man. Their image is one of being rigidly protective of the wealthy, business and their tax accountants and making life a little more difficult for the electorate they need to win elections. Neither telling citizens they are better off without the ACA or codling single issue fringe politics is the answer for a GOP win.
