Probably because Tyus Jones, Reid Travis, Rashad Vaughn, J. C. Hassenauer and Frank Ragnow are all leaving MN and going for the gold! Of course, the three game losing streak after running out of cupcakes topped off by the flop in Houston should have them all running for the exits!

The [REAL] college football bowl season starts tomorrow, Jeff! Pay attention to who the [TRUE] players are!!

Why not take a trip to Florida? I'd take my 5 visits too, then go to the U. I think country Jer has got him wrapped up, if not we want players who want to play here. Gophers will be BIG TEN title contenders in a couple years.

Why not, Lib? He's already there for the HS all star game. lol Try your same logic on, "why not take a free trip to Ames or East Lansing??" :-O Contenders? lol lol lol lol lol..........

It's why you have to WIN bowl games, Jerry. When your team looks like it did against Syracuse (a mediocre team from a so-so conference), it makes any good to great recruit look elsewhere. And why, so far, all you've been able to attract to your program is 2- and 3-star recruits. You can't win consistently in the B1G with last place recruiting classes, Jerry. I hope Norwood understands this and doesn't cave in to a raise and/or extension until after you and your staff produce a winning conference record and a bowl win. 0 for 7 in Bowl games, and 0-21 at The U when trailing at halftime is coaching ineptitude at its finest. Let's hope Jeff Jones can somehow ignore this record, but I doubt it.

this snub could be a program "killer"

He probably wanted a nice and longer break from winter. If he wants a future beyond football he ought not look there. Get a good education and a great football career at a school like Minnesota or others, but Florida will not be a good choice. Not many that play graduate and an NFL career is not a given despite talent.
