Hartman: If it was Frazier's Vikings finale, he went out a winner

There has been a lot of chatter over Leslie Frazier’s future, but maybe the Wilfs will give him another chance.

Sid, maybe YOU think the Wolfs should imitate the Twins and keep a failed coach and GM just to stick it in the taxpayers face because ownership already got the money, but I don.t. Why do you wish to reward failure with money taken from nearly EVERY Minnesotan?

Too bad Frazier didn't use Patterson much until it was too late, he might have saved his job, and we all wouldn't have had to suffer through this agonizing season. So who should the next coach be?

Jarts_MasterDec. 29, 13 9:37 PM

Great math Sid, 5-9-1 is 15 not 16 games, the amount in an NFL season.

Please, stop with the excuses for Frazier! Unbelievable.

Ah no...Just revisit Frasier's overall record and you will see he is a LOSER...Him, Muskox, and Schpeelman...Throw Wilf in there too for good measure...All failures and disgraces to MN and the NFL...

Sid.....20-32-1. This isn't Vikings football.

so do you think Tom Brady wishes they kept the #29 pick and drafted a certain WR???

vikodinDec. 29, 1311:56 PM

No Sid, Frazier is the epitome of a loser...no passion, refuses to take the blame for the losses, and won't take a stand on any topic. I have never seen such a dysfunctional regime, and it needs to change...all of the coaches, and trade AP...start over. He deserves to be on a contender for the last few years of his career.

Sid. no one on this team went out a winner. If you want to know how bad this team was, all you have to do is look at our division. It was a horrible division, and we were never even in the race, even though two of these teams were missing their starting franchise quarterbacks. This team needs an overhaul from top to bottom. Maybe an offensive coordinator with a little poorer eye sight and a larger play card.

One thing about Sid, he's consistent! Always wants to stay with the status quo. If Frazier had anything to do with the Ponder fiasco, he must go! If it was Spielman pulling the strings, I would be in favor of keeping Frazier...without a contract extension and canning Spielman. This team is nowhere close to contending in a very weak division. With a strong commitment from ownership, a one year turn-a-round is possible...look at Arizona, Philly and Kansas City. However, all three went with new, proven and dynamic coaches.
