Hospitalizations spike as flu season worsens

Health officials said hospitals saw a spike just before Christmas.

wow, Star Trib is still using last year's terrible photo of the nurse not wearing gloves and the dad's germy fingers all over the kid's face. Lazy. But yes, get a flu shot people!!!! I'm not being sarcastic---as much as I dislike this picture, please get vaccinated. Even if you don't care that you get sick, you may save a baby's or elderly person's life.

I have never had the flu and haven't been vaccinated for at least 20 years. Don't think I'm needing a shot.

roberth999 - I haven't had a car accident in at least 20 years, but I am not going to stop wearing seat belts. It wouldn't make much sense to decide since I haven't had an accident I probably will never have one.
