Wolves' schedule softens up

The Timberwolves went back to work Thursday, presumably putting behind them Sunday’s overtime loss to the Clippers in Los Angeles and moving onto an upcoming stretch starting Friday against Washington where the schedule cannot be a crutch.

This team can get hot and explode at any moment. They just need some good home cooking and some confidence. The talent is there, if they believe. We're with you guys, Wolves. Let's get the new year off to a roaring start! And Adelman, please play the rookies much much more. Go Wolves!!!!!

Where is the evidence that this team has played well against under 500 teams so far??? Under Adelman I do not see the rookies playing unless their are injuries. His rotation is set is stone.

ljb6599 - well said...this team is very average at best. The head coach needs to retire now. Time for K Love to find another team as there's no future for him on this pathetic team.

Please play with some intensity and get this thing rolling!!

I hope the Wolves team is not reading into the 'soft' schedule they have now. For Christmas I hope; Martin got 'handles', Rubio got a Shot, Adelman got a rotation that includes two #1 picks, the Wolves got a healthy Budinger & Turiaf, Adelman gets the ball to Love in the clutch, and the fans get some wins.

If rookies are playing rotation minutes, then it is likely you have a bad team.

These next four games provide us with the litmus test. Anything less than 3-1, and preferably 4-0, will be disappointing.

.....of 9 games where the final score was by a margin of 5 or less, the Wolves are 1-8. if they had won 4 of those 8, we would be 6th or 7th in the play off hunt. in many of those 8 the TWolves had the lead only to Lose. Tough schedule or not, that reflects on the coaching.

celeb1999Dec. 27, 1311:25 AM

The Wolves need one more bona fide player to put them over the top. There have been too many close ball games that have gone the other way. We need Garnett back and get him the heck out of Brooklyn. Kevin needs to come home to finish his career. Get Brooklyn to eat most of his current contract, maybe throw one or two draft choices or players in the mix and we have a world championship. I said it here first. This will happen.

The Twolves HAVE to get hot now, end of story. They need to win 10 out of the next 12 to even have a shot at the playoffs this year. The West is just too tough.
