It's troubling to me that a 32 year old building is "historic." This soon to be new stadium is simply welfare for a sports franchise.

I got news for 'em. They put extra security on in 1981 at Met Stadium, too. Look where that got them.

I don't see what the big deal is with what happened at the Met, So what that they tore down the goal posts. The NFL and the owners of the Vikings are control Freaks.

I chuckled when I read "nine arrests" in 1981 - I'm willing to bet that there are more than that on any given Sunday the Vikes play at the dome in the past decade.

That concrete shell with a cloth roof is no where near to be hailed as a "historic" building, as the Vikings spokesperson thinks it is. Why would anyone want to 'take' a piece of that ugly thing is a mystery to me.
