As a married straight man, I'd like to make note of all the ways legal gay marriage has changed my life.

umm

Well, working in a branch of the Entertainment industry, I went to a lot of weddings this August and September. And a lot of people I've known for years are all of a sudden wearing rings on their left "ring" finger instead of their right one these days.

And I don't feel like a jerk anymore talking about my wife to somebody I know perfectly well is in the same kind of permanent relationship as I am, but isn't recognized for it as I am.

So nothing very gay happened to me in 2013, but a lot of people I know are being treated better, so that's good.

You forgot that Phil Robertson is still on the air, showing that our country is still open to all views on homosexuals. Great to see the conversation finally ok to talk about and not shout out either side of the coin.

Phil Robertson is still on the air because of the New God in America--MONEY! That is the thing that drives us to madness. From Washington D.C. to Ono, Wisconsin money runs the world.

I've never met anyone who has moved to or from a state because of politics. Usually it's because of a job offer.
