The wolves (like the vikings), find a new way to disappoint us each year......

Willy53Dec. 24, 13 6:46 AM

Love should call his teamates out. Each player needs to figure out how to elevate their game and attention span to overcome late game collapses. Pure athleticism is not the Wolves game. If they can't play smart at the end of games they will fail, end of discussion.

"Saving" the max contract for Rubio while low-balling Love? What an absolute joke! Rubio cannot score at all (even on layups), he fails against physical defenders and his decision-making is just average. A couple fancy passes per week is NOT worth a max contract. Should've kept Lawson.

Trade KLove to a contender now. This team will not make it to the playoff in the next 25 years.

You won't win many games against good teams when you turn the ball over 20 times. The Wolves can make the playoffs with a little tighter defense and more production from Rubio and the bench.

Willy53...Love missed some crucial free throws that could have sealed the victory for the Wolves. In this game he also had 4 turnovers.

jachesteDec. 24, 13 9:36 AM

ljb: Yeah, he did. He also was 13-15 from the free throw line for the game. He needed be be absolutely perfect for us to win given Rubio scored exactly "0" in the game, Brewer is struggling, and Martin handles like Wally.

turn this thing around and keep Love here...if Love leaves, then just fold up the franchise and we'll go do something else...enough of this already!

alandryDec. 24, 1310:38 AM

This may seem strange but the 79 points combined by Love /Pekovic are the highest total in the history of the NBA for 2 white players. Bird and McHale had 75 against the Bucks in 83. No one else is even close. That Martin turnover was incredible..the announcer kept saying "it's too easy" about getting it in..boy was he wrong.

Martin needs to elevate his game. His recent play is very bench-like. Ndot much D and unreliable in clutch.
